The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute hosted the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s LIVESTRONG Summit July 24-27, bringing together 1,000 current and potential cancer leaders from across the country, all united with the singular purpose of making cancer a national priority.
Delegates concentrated on one of three tracks – Advocacy, Elections or Fundraising – to learn how to organize grassroots networks to influence decision makers, pass legislation and raise critically-needed funds for further research and discovery.
