Located behind the OSU Child Care Center, 725 Ackerman Road, the Children's Healing Garden is a place where all children can come to celebrate the lives of their loved ones. It features a wall of tiles made by children to honor the person who has died. There is a labyrinth in front of the wall that is made of mounds upon which light and dark purple perennials have been planted. The Children’s Healing Garden provides a new paradigm for a children’s cemetery. It is more tactile and invites play from children. Families can run through the labyrinth path, visit the tile representing their loved ones, have a picnic at nearby tables and just enjoy the beauty of nature.
