 Cancer Research

What distinguishes Ohio State’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (The James) from other hospitals in the region is sophisticated research that enables us to better tailor prevention methods, diagnosis and treatments for individuals. Cancer care at The James is backed by medical research in the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC), a network of  seven interdisciplinary programs that collectively comprise nearly 240 scientists representing 14 of the 18 colleges at Ohio State. Today, nearly 50 novel therapies are being tested at The James, many of which are offered nowhere else in the world.
